CPIM

The APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) program is recognized worldwide as the standard in production and inventory control, one of the most critical functions within an organization for reducing costs and achieving a competitive edge. The CPIM designation is earned by successfully completing two exams demonstrating competency in production and inventory management.
Number of exam parts: Two
Format of exam: Computer-based test (CBT); each exam part consists of 150 multiple-choice questions completed in 3.5 hours.
Exam proctor: Pearson VUE
Eligibility requirements: There are no eligibility or work experience requirements to pursue the CPIM.
Exam domains: Earning the designation demonstrates a solid understanding of the CPIM body of knowledge which covers five areas divided into two parts:
• CPIM Part 1 – Module 1: Basics of Supply Chain Management
• CPIM Part 2 – Module 1: Strategic Management of Resources
• CPIM Part 2 – Module 2: Master Planning of Resources
• CPIM Part 2 – Module 3: Detailed Scheduling and Planning
• CPIM Part 2 – Module 4: Execution and Control of Operations
CPIM exams details:
• Exams are available year around. Part 1 starting September 2017 and Part 2 starting November 2017.
• Schedule exam appointments within the six-month window that your Authorization to Test (ATT) is valid.

CSCP

APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional™ (CSCP) program takes a broad view of the field, extending beyond internal operations to encompass all the steps throughout the supply chain--from the supplier, through the company, to the end consumer--and how to effectively manage the integration of these activities to maximize the company’s value chain.

Format of exam: Computer-based test (CBT); exam consists of 150 multiple-choice questions— 3.5 hours to complete
Exam proctor: Pearson VUE
Eligibility requirements: To be eligible for the APICS CSCP exam, a candidate must meet ONE of the following criteria:
• 3 years of related experience OR
• Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent OR
• Hold an active CPIM, CTL, CLTD, CFPIM, CIRM, SCOR-P, C.P.M., CSM or CPSM credential
Exam domains: The APICS CSCP body of knowledge has been extensively updated to reflect the most recent Global Job Task Analysis and updates to the CSCP Exam Content Manual. The CSCP is made up of the following three domains:
• APICS Supply Chain Design
• APICS Supply Chain Planning and Execution
• APICS Supply Chain Improvement and Best Practices
CSCP exams details: The CSCP exam is offered on-demand across the globe.

CLTD

Companies count on logistics experts—one of the fastest-growing professions in the world—to get their products to customers on time and on budget. The APICS Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD) designation helps logistics professionals learn how to implement innovative logistics strategies and concepts to reduce costs, increase customer satisfaction and perform at a higher level.

Format of exam: Computer-based test (CBT); exam consists of 150 multiple-choice questions— 3.5 hours to complete.
Exam proctor: Pearson VUE
Eligibility requirements: To be eligible for the APICS CLTD exam, a candidate must meet ONE of the following criteria:
• 3 years of related experience
• Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent
• Hold one of the following: One of the following: CTL, CSCP, CPIM, CFPIM, CIRM, SCOR-P, C.P.M., CSM or CPSM designations.
Exam domains: The CLTD designation assesses individuals based on a comprehensive body of knowledge, best practices and standards for those in the logistics, transportation and distribution industries. The CLTD is made up of the following domains:
• Logistics and Supply Chain Overview
• Capacity Planning and Demand Management
• Order Management
• Inventory and Warehouse Management
• Transportation
• Global Logistics Considerations
• Logistics Network Design
• Reverse Logistics and Sustainability
CLTD exam details:
• Exam available year around.
• The computer-based CLTD exam consists of 150 multiple choice questions answered within 3.5 hours.
• Available globally through Pearson VUE.
