MEDIAMARKT Turkey works with SELCO to redesign its logistics business model

Improvement of Last Mile Logistics [2023]

MEDIA MARKT worked with SELCO to re-design its logistics strategy to respond to future growth strategies and improve customer service through optimized last mile logistics. The new logistics operations design will meet fluctuating customer demands with an efficient structure, providing home delivery in 24 hours and managing inventories more effectively through an advanced inventory positioning strategy.
Damla Aksu, Supply Chain Director, Turkey & Poland stated that the new design will help them reach higher customer service levels: “With SELCO, we will better focus on our future growth strategy and customers. On top of the already efficient system that was again designed by SELCO in 2018, we collaboratively improved our distribution network strategies and logistics operations model to enable a more consumer focused fulfillment model. We shall continue to implement best practices with SELCO in the future.


New Generaton Planning System [2021]

MEDIAMARKT has successfully implemented RELEX, a new generation, autonomous retail planning and management platform. Having designed the new supply chain strategy for MEDIAMARKT back in 2018, SELCO supported the MEDIAMARKT Turkey team to deploy the new retail planning system.
