Logistics Network Optimization [2023]
SELCO designed the optimal distribution network for CARREFOURSA's warehousing and distribution operations. The study also included the assessment of the 3-year projections for the customer service points and the operational improvement areas of the DCs. The recommendations project a saving of 4.5 % over total logistic costs.
Transport Optimization [2017]
SELCO has deployed ORTEC ORD solution at CARREFOURSA, enabling its client to better and faster plan its transportation operations. The ORTEC ORD solution is used by 10 planners and the project was implemented in line with all the project timelines, budget, and performance expectations
Automatic optimization, live in 6 DCs, solves the difficult time window constrained, multi-stop delivery routing problem which also contains return/backhaul planning. ORD’s reporting and track&trace functionalities are also used to have a transparent route planning with live realizations and reporting from one source.
CarrefourSA project manager Omer Genc emphasized that their end-to-end logistics process has been improved significantly and the ORTEC ORD solution is creating the productivities they were expecting.
Improvement of Supply Chain Processes [2016]
The deliverables of the project were to identify supply chain management process gaps, create improvement road maps, and define process changes. Using the SCOR model as a reference, SELCO identified supply chain competitive requirements, determined supply chain management initiatives that will improve key performance indicators, and created improvement road maps.
