McDonald’s worked with SELCO to analyze and verify the current logistics business model and to compare 3PL offers, as part of the renewal of warehousing and transportation supplier contracts in 2021. The scope of the study included operation improvement areas, cost modelling, KPI management, transportation routing, and benchmarking of 3PL offers. A feasibility analysis is conducted for total cost of ownership of warehousing and transportation operations; a full-detailed cost report is prepared for 3PL bid comparison.
